The To'hajiilee Warriors (To'hajiilee, NM) basketball nipped the host Mountainair Mustangs (Mountainair, NM), 56-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Tse' Yi' Gai (Cuba, NM). The Dine Warriors go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Tse' Yi' Gai was tipped by Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM), 46-33, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Ruidoso for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Mountainair will battle a Warriors team coming off a 81-72 non-league win over McCurdy (Espanola, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.
