The Steinert Spartans basketball team (Hamilton, NJ), was overwhelmed 54-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Notre Dame Irish (Lawrenceville, NJ)

The Irish now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 23. Notre Dame will battle a Falcons team coming off a 43-42 non-league win over Colonia (Colonia, NJ). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.

The Spartans (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hopewell Valley Central (Pennington, NJ). The Bulldogs come into the Colonial Valley battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Hopewell Valley Central was overwhelmed by Princeton (Princeton, NJ), 58-48, in a league battle.
