Poly Bears (Riverside, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host O'Connor Eagles (Phoenix, AZ), 55-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Poly upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Vanden (Fairfield, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Vanden won 63-35 in their recent non-league bout against Centennial (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Eagles play the Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. O'Connor will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Stallions come into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 67-61 non-league loss to Ogallala (Ogallala, NE).
