Texas High School Basketball - Southside trounced by Pieper

In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Pieper Warriors basketball team scored a decisive 67-39 triumph over the Southside Cardinals.

In their next game, the Warriors meet the Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 match, on Saturday, December 30. Pieper will attempt to move on its 14-5 season record.

With the defeat, Southside moves to 4-10 on the year. The Cardinals host Harlandale (San Antonio, TX) to meet the Indians in a 5A Region IV District 28 match on Friday, December 29. The Indians enter the match with a record of 6-6. Harlandale won 76-55 in their recent non-league match against Seguin (Seguin, TX)
