The Southington Blue Knights basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Plainville Blue Devils to 41 in the Blue Knights league triumph on Tuesday.

The Blue Knights now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glastonbury for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Southington will meet a Guardians team coming off a 82-43 non-league win over Tolland (Tolland, CT). The Guardians record now stands at 2-0.

The Blue Devils (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Berlin (Berlin, CT). The Redcoats enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Berlin ran past Hartford Public (Hartford, CT), 71-39, in a non-league contest.
