In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Poudre Impalas basketball team scored a good 62-48 triumph over the Standley Lake Gators.
In their next game, the Impalas meet the Prairie View Thunderhawks (Henderson, CO) in a 6A Front Range match, on Saturday, January 6. Poudre will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Thunderhawks enter the match with a 3-5 record after their 61-54 non-league win over Pomona (Arvada, CO).
With the defeat, Standley Lake moves to 3-6 on the year. The Gators travel to Evergreen (Evergreen, CO) to meet the Cougars in a 5A/4A Jeffco match on Thursday, January 4. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 2-6. Evergreen lost 54-51 in their recent non-league match against Bear Creek (Lakewood, CO)
