Southwest Christian Stars (Chaska, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Watertown-Mayer Royals (Watertown, MN), 71-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Southwest Christian upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Stars travel to Edison (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Tommies in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Tommies go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Edison lost 86-56 in their recent non-league bout against Maranatha Christian Academy (Brooklyn Park, MN)

Next up, the Royals play the Le Sueur-Henderson/Minnesota New Country Giants (Le Sueur, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Watertown-Mayer will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Giants go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 71-57 league win over Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN).
