The The Master's Academy Lions basketball team (Forest City, NC), was overwhelmed 65-24 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC)

The Gryphons now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Lure Classical Academy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 20. Thomas Jefferson will confront a Raptors team coming off a 58-33 non-league win over Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC). The Raptors record now stands at 10-0.

The Lions (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Nebo Crossing Academy (Nebo, NC). The Bulldogs come into the Western Piedmont battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Nebo Crossing Academy trounced N.C. School for the Deaf (Morganton, NC), 68-18, in a non-league battle.
