The Moriarty Pintos basketball team (Moriarty, NM), dropped 40-23 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM)
The Chargers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandia for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. Albuquerque Academy will battle a Matadors team coming off a 60-41 non-league loss to Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 3-4.
The Pintos (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Dons come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, West Las Vegas prevailed over Cuba (Cuba, NM), 58-44, in a non-league battle.
