Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Horizon Hawks (Winter Garden, FL) and the visiting Freedom Patriots (Orlando, FL), saw Horizon's basketball squad hold off Freedom by a tally of 43-36.

With the victory, Horizon improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hawks host Lyman (Longwood, FL) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Patriots play the Montverde Academy Eagles (Montverde, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Freedom will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
