Brentwood War Eagles (Sandersville, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA), 61-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brentwood upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The War Eagles travel to Putnam County (Eatonton, GA) to clash with the War Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The War Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Putnam County won 74-41 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity Christian (Dublin, GA)

Next up, the Gryphons clash with the John Milledge Academy Trojans (Milledgeville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Academy for Classical Education will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 58-31 non-league win over Loganville Christian Academy (Loganville, GA).
