Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Alexander Bulldogs (Laredo, TX), 48-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Steele upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Knights host Judson (Converse, TX) to play the Rockets in a 6A Region IV District 27 bout on Friday, January 5. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 18-5.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Alexander will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 55-40 league loss to Canyon (New Braunfels, TX).
