The Chase Kats basketball team (Chase, KS), was overwhelmed 61-15 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Central Plains Oilers (Claflin, KS)
The Oilers now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Macksville for a Central Prairie battle on Friday, January 5. Central Plains will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 54-46 non-league win over Cunningham (Cunningham, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-2.
The Kats (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Fairfield (Langdon, KS). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Fairfield trounced Central Christian Academy (Wichita, KS), 46-38, in a non-league battle.
