The Chilhowee Indians basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Climax Springs Cougars to 45 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northeast Vernon County for a Golden Valley Vernon contest on Tuesday, January 2. Chilhowee will battle a Knights team coming off a 49-36 non-league win over Kingsville (Kingsville, MO). The Knights record now stands at 3-3.

The Cougars (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Macks Creek (Macks Creek, MO). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 10-1 record.
