Cutter-Morning Star Eagles (Hot Springs National Park, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Malvern Leopards (Malvern, AR), 42-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cutter-Morning Star upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Eagles host Fordyce (Fordyce, AR) to play the Redbugs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Redbugs go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Fordyce lost 62-18 in their recent non-league bout against Sheridan (Sheridan, AR)

Next up, the Leopards play the Saline County Christian HomeSchool Warriors (Benton, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Malvern will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
