In Tuesday's non-league outing, the East Iberville Tigers (St. Gabriel, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA), by a count of 62-16.
The Tigers (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against St. Joseph's Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Redstickers go into the non-league outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, St. Joseph's Academy was crushed by E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA), 40-39, in a non-league outing.
The Buccaneers now hold a 0-13 record. They play next when they travel to Eleanor McMain for a non-league outing on Monday, January 8.
