Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Eaton Reds (Eaton, CO), 50-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lutheran upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Holy Family (Broomfield, CO) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 7-0. Holy Family won 65-9 in their recent non-league bout against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, CO)

Next up, the Reds play the Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Eaton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Broncos come into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 59-49 non-league loss to Berthoud (Berthoud, CO).
