Arizona High School Basketball - Red Mountain can't hold off Golden

December 19, 2023: Mesa, AZ 85207

The Golden Demons basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Red Mountain Mountain Lions to 43 in the Demons non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Demons now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Casteel for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Golden will battle a Colts team coming off a 38-35 non-league loss to Westminster (Westminster, CO). The Colts record now stands at 7-5.

The Mountain Lions (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ). The Huskies come into the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Horizon was nudged by Rolling Hills Prep (San Pedro, CA), 46-44, in a non-league contest.
