Nebraska High School Basketball - North Central tops Gregory

North Central Knights (Bassett, NE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Gregory Gorillas (Gregory, SD), 56-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Central upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to O'Neill (O'Neill, NE) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 2-6. O'Neill lost 65-32 in their recent non-league bout against Crofton (Crofton, NE)

Next up, the Gorillas play the Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD) in a B Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Gregory will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 42-32 non-league loss to Centerville (Centerville, SD).
