The Spur Bulldogs basketball team (Spur, TX), was overwhelmed 68-37 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Hermleigh Cardinals (Hermleigh, TX)
The Cardinals now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Deal for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. Hermleigh will confront a Lions team coming off a 42-38 league loss to Floydada (Floydada, TX). The Lions record now stands at 12-7.
The Bulldogs (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Paducah (Paducah, TX). The Dragons come into the 1A Region I District 5 battle with a 12-5 record.
