The Hinton Blackhawks basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Woodbury Central Wildcats to 23 in the Blackhawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Blackhawks now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Hinton will meet a Tigers team coming off a 56-40 league win over Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union (Marcus, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-4.
The Wildcats (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wakefield (Wakefield, NE). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Wakefield triumphed over Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE), 68-42, in a non-league contest.
