The Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) basketball felled the visiting New Underwood Tigers (New Underwood, SD), 40-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bison (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD). The Broncs go into the A Region 8 test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Belle Fourche thwarted Watertown (Watertown, SD), 45-44, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Wall for a B Region 7 test on Thursday, December 21. New Underwood will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 67-43 non-league loss to Red Cloud (Pine Ridge, SD). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
