Howell Highlanders (Howell, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Stevenson Spartans (Livonia, MI), 59-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Howell upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Hartland (Hartland, MI) to clash with the Eagles in a Kensington Lakes - West bout on Thursday, December 21. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Hartland won 62-28 in their recent non-league bout against Groves (Beverly Hills, MI)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Fordson Tractors (Dearborn, MI) in a Kensington Lakes - East bout, on Thursday, December 21. Stevenson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Tractors go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 45-35 non-league win over Trenton (Trenton, MI).
