In Tuesday's league outing, the Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Surrattsville Hornets (Clinton, MD), by a count of 59-33.
The Lions (6-0) will now prepare for their outing against Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD). The Clippers go into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Oxon Hill smashed Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD), 89-20, in a league outing.
The Hornets now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Robinson for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 27. Surrattsville will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 63-26 league win over Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Rams record now stands at 6-1.
