South Carolina High School Basketball - Laurens nips South Aiken

Laurens Raiders (Laurens, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC), 39-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Laurens upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Raiders host Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC) to play the Fury in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Fury go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Fountain Inn won 60-21 in their recent non-league bout against Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC)

Next up, the Thoroughbreds play the Laney Wildcats (Augusta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. South Aiken will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 69-50 non-league loss to Westwood (Blythewood, SC).
