The Paynesville Bulldogs nipped the visiting Minnewaska Area Lakers basketball squad by a margin of 47-45 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bulldogs (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN). The Tigers go into the AA Section 3 test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta got by Rocori (Cold Spring, MN), 74-72, in a non-league test.
The Lakers now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa for a non-league test on Thursday, December 21. Minnewaska Area will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 59-48 non-league loss to Paynesville (Paynesville, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-2.
