The Sutherland Sailors basketball team (Sutherland, NE), was overwhelmed 65-42 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting South Platte Blue Knights (Big Springs, NE)
The Blue Knights now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wallace for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 21. South Platte will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 58-38 non-league loss to Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.
The Sailors (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 7-1 record.
