Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Rolesville Rams (Rolesville, NC), 36-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hillside upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Rams play the Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Rolesville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 54-10 non-league loss to Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC).
