The Smithfield Sentinels basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Moses Brown Quakers to 21 in the Sentinels non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Sentinels now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cranston East for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Smithfield will battle a Thunderbolts team coming off a 36-22 non-league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 1-2.

The Quakers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Warwick (West Warwick, RI). The Wizards come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
