UIC College Prep Firecats (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Chicago Mathematics & Science (Chicago, IL), 63-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, UIC College Prep upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Firecats travel to Rauner (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Wildcats in a bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Rauner won 37-28 in their recent non-league bout against Hancock (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the clash with the Rickover Naval Seadragons (Chicago, IL) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Chicago Mathematics & Science will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Seadragons go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 65-11 league loss to Chicago Sullivan (Chicago, IL).
