California High School Basketball - Gilroy can't hold off Mt. Pleasant

The Mt. Pleasant Cardinals basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Gilroy Mustangs to 49 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Live Oak for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Mt. Pleasant will battle a Acorns team coming off a 52-48 non-league loss to Pioneer (San Jose, CA). The Acorns record now stands at 5-3.
The Mustangs (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against North Salinas (Salinas, CA). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, North Salinas was nudged by Alisal (Salinas, CA), 85-49, in a non-league contest.
