Solebury Spartans (New Hope, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting JV Opponent (, ), 58-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Solebury upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Spartans host Life Center Academy (Burlington, NJ) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the play the Grace Christian Academy Colts (Perrin, TX) in a bout, on Tuesday, December 19. JV Opponent will attempt to move on its 85-231 season record. The Colts enter the game with a 6-0 record after their 55-26 league win over Dallas Academy (Dallas, TX).
