Ray Texans (Corpus Christi, TX) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Texans confront the Gregory-Portland Wildcats (Portland, TX) in a challenge, on Monday, February 12. Ray will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

The Pirates now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Ingleside for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19.
