Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Thunderbirds face the Red Bluff Spartans (Red Bluff, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 21. Las Plumas will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Corning (Corning, CA).

The Cougars now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Enterprise for a Eastern Athletic challenge on Wednesday, January 10. Foothill will face a Hornets team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Anderson (Anderson, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 3-4.
