The Alcoa Tornadoes basketball team scored 86 points and limited the host Knoxville Central Bobcats to 52 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tornadoes now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Knoxville Catholic for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Alcoa will confront a Fighting Irish team coming off a 77-60 non-league win over King's Academy (Seymour, TN). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Knoxville Central falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Farragut (Knoxville, TN) to confront the Admirals in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Admirals go into the game with a record of 7-3. Farragut won 58-47 in their recent non-league game against Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN)
