California High School Basketball - Birmingham holds off Bellflower

The Birmingham Patriots basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Bellflower Buccaneers to 54 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Kuna for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Birmingham will confront a Kavemen team coming off a 59-47 league win over Boise (Boise, ID). The Kavemen record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Bellflower falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA) to confront the Dons in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Dons go into the game with a record of 6-5. El Rancho lost 65-29 in their recent non-league game against Payson (Payson, UT)
