Byron Bears (Byron, MN) fans went home pleased Thursday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the host Red Wing Wingers (Red Wing, MN), 89-53 in a league challenge.

The Bears (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Goodhue (Goodhue, MN). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Goodhue trounced Hayfield (Hayfield, MN), 88-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wingers encounter the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 26. Red Wing will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
