In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion basketball team scored a good 55-45 triumph over the Carolina Friends Quakers.

The Lion (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wake Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Wake Christian Academy was toppled by Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC), 66-29, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Quakers confront the Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Carolina Friends will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 46-24 non-league loss to Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC).
