The Central Catholic Eagles basketball squad (Morgan City, LA), was outscored 61-45 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting St. Martinville Tigers (St. Martinville, LA)

With the victory, St. Martinville advances its record to 3-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to Lafayette (Lafayette, LA) to meet the Lions in a non-league battle on Friday, December 20. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 8-0. Lafayette won 57-35 in their recent non-league battle against Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA)

The Eagles now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terrebonne for a non-league battle on Friday, December 27.
