In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Greater Johnstown Trojans basketball team scored a big 85-50 triumph over the Chestnut Ridge Lions.

The Trojans (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Knoch (Saxonburg, PA). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Knoch smashed Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA), 74-36, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lions confront the Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, December 27. Chestnut Ridge will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Ramblers enter the battle with a 5-3 record after their 48-41 non-league loss to Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA).
