The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) and the visiting Oakwood Hawks (Morgan Hill, CA), observed Christopher's basketball team overwhelm Oakwood by a margin of 73-46.

The Cougars (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Monte Vista (Danville, CA). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Monte Vista trounced Mountain House (Mountain House, CA), 61-56, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Fremont Tigers (Oakland, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Oakwood will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record.
