The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Classical Purple (Providence, RI) and the visiting Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI), observed Classical's basketball team overwhelm Smithfield by a score of 70-29.

The Purple (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin (Franklin, MA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.

In their next game, the Sentinels encounter the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a Division 1 challenge, on Monday, December 23. Smithfield will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
