The Palmer Dragons basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Coahoma County Red Panthers to 37 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Dragons now have a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Calhoun City for a 2A Region 2 game on Tuesday, January 7.

With the loss, Coahoma County falls to 12-3 on the campaign. The Red panthers travel to Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS) to confront the Conquistadors in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Conquistadors go into the game with a record of 10-4. Olive Branch lost 65-59 in their recent non-league game against Fayette Ware (Somerville, TN)
