In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Dumas Bobcats basketball team scored a big 69-36 win over the Marvell Mustangs.

The Bobcats (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Crossett (Crossett, AR). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Crossett was trounced by Camden Fairview (Camden, AR), 71-30, in a non-league contest.

The Mustangs now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. Marvell will face a Cougars squad coming off a 61-42 non-league loss to Edwards (Ruleville, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 4-11.
