In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Durant Wildcats basketball team scored a big 56-34 triumph over the Louisa-Muscatine Falcons.
The Wildcats (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA). The Golden Hawks go into the River Valley contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Mid-Prairie smashed Wilton (Wilton, IA), 75-56, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons confront the Lone Tree Lions (Lone Tree, IA) in a SEI - North contest, on Friday, December 20. Louisa-Muscatine will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 63-46 league loss to Pekin (Packwood, IA).
