The East Providence Townies basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Mt. Pleasant Kilties to 53 in the Townies league triumph on Thursday.

The Townies now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Barrington for a Division 1 game on Monday, December 23. East Providence will confront a Eagles team coming off a 77-69 league loss to Central (Providence, RI). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Mt. Pleasant falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Kilties host St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI) to confront the Saints in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Saints go into the game with a record of 1-3. St. Raphael Academy lost 60-50 in their recent league game against Middletown (Middletown, RI)
