The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Goffstown Grizzlies (Goffstown, NH) and the host Salem Blue Devils (Salem, NH), observed Goffstown's basketball team edge Salem by a margin of 72-66.

The Grizzlies (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Timberlane (Plaistow, NH). The Owls come into the Division I challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Timberlane was tipped by Nashua South (Nashua, NH), 65-57, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Manchester Memorial Crusaders (Manchester, NH) in a Division I challenge, on Friday, January 3. Salem will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 55-53 league loss to Londonderry (Londonderry, NH).
