The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Harlan Falcons (Chicago, IL) and the visiting South Shore International Tars (Chicago, IL), observed Harlan's basketball team overcome South Shore International by a score of 46-34.

The Falcons (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood (Chicago, IL). The Lions go into the bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood fell by Corliss (Chicago, IL), 63-57, in a league bout.

With the loss, South Shore International falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Tars travel to Goode STEM Academy (Chicago, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, December 23. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Goode STEM Academy won 42-26 in their recent league bout against Excel Academy of Englewood (Chicago, IL)
