In Thursday's non-league contest, the host JS Clark Leadership Academy Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 59-39 triumph over the Port Barre Red Devils.
The Bulldogs (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Westgate (New Iberia, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Westgate was topped by Bourgeois (Gray, LA), 65-54, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Red Devils battle the David Thibodaux Bulldogs (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 30. Port Barre will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 8-0 record after their 63-19 non-league win over Opelousas Catholic (Opelousas, LA).
