In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Konawaena Wildcats basketball team scored a close 64-60 triumph over the West Anchorage Eagles.

The Wildcats (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against North (Torrance, CA). The Saxons go into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, North was tipped by Westchester (Los Angeles, CA), 62-38, in a non-league contest.
